So I know this is an older book, but I don't care. I need something
to pass the time and hey, if this helps get this to more people then
I'm happy for it. Also, I'm not really used to reviewing books in a
long form format so please keep that in mind. Maybe I'll get better
in the future or maybe I'll stick to the problems that present

My history
with this book
Back when I was younger, like way too young to even have access to
such things, my one outlet toward seeing and reading graphic novels
involving naked chicks was Heavy Metal. For those that are unaware of
what that series is, think comic compilations. Now, replace those
comics with different stories with a fantasy or science fiction
element, with a few sprinklings of horror, for an adult audience and
you've got Heavy Metal. My father, the one who bought them obviously,
was not exactly shy about his buying habit with these. He'd come home
with a store bag, put it on the counter, and I'd see this busty
motorcycle chick staring back at me through her post apocalyptic
goggles. Seriously, there are so many covers that stand out in mind.
The trio of bikini clad hunters with helms and pistols attached to
their gloves, this one chick pressing herself against what can best
be described as an orc in a business suit. A lot of these covers you
could make a gallery collection of.
Inside were either a bunch of short stories, like this one woman who
came across these various types of cream that would keep her breasts
growing, turn her invisible, or a variety of other things while
others were prolonged series that you just got lengthy snippets of.
Anyway, in the back of all these magazines were a HUGE list of adult
oriented graphic novels you could order. Some of these were shown, in
snippet form, inside the magazine, or they were there own thing.
Among the latter was this book. I always saw it advertised and again
I was far too young to even THINK about ordering such a book. In
fact, I was far too young to know breasts could be sexualized. So I
made a mental note to myself that as soon as I could I'd be buying
this book and reading through it. Well, eventually I bought it and I
read it and now I'm here to talk about it with you.
The Story
The idea behind it is super simple. Two days in the life of a college
girl, Petra, with a huge ability to fantasize on sexual encounters,
mostly involving her new strap on. Hence why she's got her fantasies
out of control in the first place. It's no different than having a
new game you've been looking forward to for months or even years. You
can't stop thinking about it. Well, this story begins with a series
of wet dreams with practically every one of them involving the dildo.
There's like one with a pair of nurses that doesn't.
Anyway, she goes to school, fantasizes on her fellow students, gets
punished by the had nun (who gets turned on by performing such
things), and meets the new girl, Jennifer, to introduce her around.
It seems...odd that there'd be a new girl in the middle of a college
semester year but I don't know. Maybe it's normal. But while giving
her a tour, Petra spills a drink on Jennifer's top so they gotta go
back to her place so it can be washed out. I should've noted at the
start of this; porn logic, use it.
As Petra is washing the top Jennifer comes across a key to Petra's
dirty secret diary and finds the strap on. This leads to them having
sex, like a whole night of sex, and Petra is obviously excited. On
their way to school they pass by a couple other women practicing
kissing and Jennifer hops the fence and insists she can do more than
that with them thus scaring them off. When they get to school they
hatch a plan against the nun, get punished, but turn things around
and it's kinda rape...but the nun is immediately into it but since
she didn't instigate it in the first place...
Afterward, Petra goes home, waves to the girls from before, and is so
much happier she has someone to help her along in her sexual
discoveries. The end.
The Review
I'm not gonna lie, despite loving manga and it being black and white,
I'm just so used to graphic novels being in color. Aside from the
cover, this one isn't. That kinda bummed me out but it isn't breaking
of my enjoyment. I can understand why they wouldn't have colored it
so it's not a big deal. Just thought I'd pass that bit along to
others who may be interested in making this a purchase.
The character designs of both Petra and Jennifer I really enjoyed.
They weren't like made to appear as models or anything. Even the side
characters had their own defining features that kept them apart and
made the world this book was set in appear very lived in. Characters
that were also doing their own things. Like the nun turned on by
dealing spankings or the girl who showed Petra and another her shaved
pussy. I like it where characters aren't just put in there to give a
background some life. I mean, even those two girls who were
practicing kissing freaked out when Jennifer flirted with them but
then waved to Petra later. Like there could be a story centred on
them.
The sex did revolve around the fact that Petra had a strap on, a lot,
but that's not to say it's all they did. For instance there was a
fair bit more diversity in their actions when they were having sex
with the nun. Other than that the expressions were cute. Petra gets
all cross eyed at one point and there's a lot of emotion in the eyes
during intercourse moments. So it's not treated as random people
having sex.
The Rating
This is definitely a good beginner book for those getting into kinky
graphic novels. If you come here from some hardcore sex book filled
with chains and and all these sometimes bizarre kinks explored you're
gonna look at this as being very tame. The most hardcore thing is
either the strap on or the fact they bind the nuns wrists behind her
back. That's it. I find this book works best for the “vanilla”
lesbians or those starting out on their path to being a lesbian or
fans of lesbians in general. For the latter, I know I said look at
this from porn logic but it's not really porn. I mean, it is but
don't expect it to match up with your professionally done videos and
whatnot. For instance, there's hardly a moment when any of the
characters look directly at you. Always hate that in porn. Why are
you looking at me? You don't know if I'm enjoying it or not, focus on
the action you've got. I'm watching this for both of you, but mostly
the act you're committing.
So I won't give this a full rating all I'm gonna say is I wish I
could come up with more example images and it's something I
recommend. Check it out, yo! If you're in any of the demographics I
mentioned above I'm certain you won't be disappointed.
